The Comair Flight 5191 crash in 2006 and the Indian Airlines accident in 1978 both stand out to me as stark reminders of how unpredictable and devastating these events can be, and how varied the outcomes for those involved can turn out. That Bombardier CRJ-100 was supposed to go from Lexington, Kentucky, to Atlanta, Georgia, but the crew made a critical mistake. Because the runway wasn't long enough, the plane just ran off the end, crashed, and caught fire. Out of the 50 people on board – 47 passengers and 3 crew members – 49 of them died. Abirami,the 10 year old recipient of a heart from a 15 year old brain dead road accident victim Mr. A.P.Hitendran son of a doctor couple Asokan and Pushpanjali of Chennai died at a private nursing home yesterday due to Arrythmia or abnormal electrical activity in the heart.Hitendran was injured in a road accident last year and he was admitted in Apollo Speciality Hospital, where he was declared brain dead.His Doctor parents opened a pandora's box by deciding to donate his organs.His corneas were sent toSankara Nehtralaya, an eye hospital and the heart was sent to Frontier Line Hospital with the help of the police,who brought the heart to the hospital with in 11 minutes and Abirami was saved with the heart transplant to the delight of her parents. Like others,this man too, had a dream. Like others, he too pushed his way into the crowded train Like others,he too wanted to get going before he got delayed Unlike others, he slipped and fell in the gap between the train and the platform at Kandivali station. And eight bogies went over him....... The man obviously has a Guardian Angel and supportive bystanders who told him exactly what he shouldn't do - move. And so the man lay absolutely still as eight bogies of the train passed over him..centimeters from his head. Yercaud  is a  hill station  in  Salem District , in  Tamil Nadu , India. It is located in the  Shevaroys range of hills  in the  Eastern Ghats .  The Yercaud hill area is called the  Shevaroy Hills . It is situated at an altitude of 1515  meters  (4970 ft) above  sea level , and the highest point in Yercaud is the Servarayan temple, at 5,326 feet (1,623 m). It is so named owing to the abundance of trees  categorized  as a forest near the lake, the name signifying  Lake Forest .  As a popular tourist destination, Yercaud is also called as  Jewel of the South !!!
